Maya Killtron makes music with one foot in 1984 and one foot in next year, and everything about her is built on that same collision. A classically trained violinist raised on funk, jazz, pop, disco, and roller boogie, she doesn't pick a lane so much as build her own on top of all of them. Vintage and modern, progressive and timeless, familiar and altogether unique, all at once. She's not reviving a sound, she's remixing eras, and the result is a voice like nobody else.

It doesn't have to make sense on paper. You could picture her on a bill with Raye, Sasha Keable, and Rick James, and it would somehow track. That's the point. The music makes you move and smile and forget why you needed categories in the first place.

Maya has stacked credits as a backup vocalist, touring musician, and producer for Juno, Polaris, and Grammy winners and nominees, but none of it has pulled her side stage. She's a main character of her own making, and one of the working class heroes of this industry. Her stage has already stretched further than most, with international showcases from Estonia to Sweden to Reeperbahn in 2025, and fresh off her first international solo tour through Japan in Spring 2026.
